Sagely Long is thrilled to reprise her role as Anne Shirley in Anne of Green Gables. She has been performing since she was a child and loves acting and singing. Some of her favorite roles include Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Belle in A Christmas Carol, and Charlotte Lucas in Pride and Prejudice. She is very excited to tell this amazing story with this talented cast.

Cathy Woods is co-founder and President of the Board of Pembroke Players. Over the last 27 years she has appeared in productions with Pembroke Players, Theatre Tulsa, American Theatre Company, Theater Pops, and Broken Arrow Community Playhouse. Her favorite roles include Barbara in August: Osage County, Mrs. Bennett in Pride and Prejudice, Mrs. Pearce in My Fair Lady, Marilla in Anne of Green Gables, and Murderer/Nurse in Macbeth.

Joe is so happy to help kick off the next season of Pembroke shows. Joe is a veteran of stage, TV, radio and film. Joe cut his teeth back in 1991 when he started at the Walt Disney Co. as a “Jungle Cruise” skipper, his first job in front of an audience. He was “bit” and knew what he wanted to do. He later went to an audition and was cast in the stage version of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” as well as “Beauty & the Beast Live.”

After leaving Disney, he got into radio in '97 and became a well known radio personality in Orlando by '99. After having a guest starring role in the children's TV show “Critter Gitters”, he went on to do a lot of theatre in Orlando with the Icehouse Theatre Company. Plays included “Lend Me a Tenor”, Neil Simon's “Proposals” where he won the Icehouse's “Cubie” Award for best featured actor, and “Don't Dress for Dinner”.

Joe has spent the first quarter of 2026 battling cancer and is, so far, cancer free. Joe would like to dedicate his performance to his children and would like to thank everyone in the Tulsa community for supporting local performing arts programs.

Kristof is excited for his Pembroke Players debut! Kristof has had an interest in the creative and performing arts since their tiny human years, and has explored those passions professionally and academically since residing in Tulsa. He is thankful and excited to be a part of this cast, sharing space in bringing this version of Avonlea to life.

Emily Peterson is excited to make her debut with Pembroke Players in this production! Some of her favorite past roles include Raina in “Under the Skin”, Sarah Page/Kiera Murphy in “Reflections”, and Cordelia in “Falsettos”. Emily is a proud graduate of the University of Tulsa, where she studied musical theatre. When she is not on stage, she enjoys learning High Valyrian on Duolingo. Emily is grateful for this opportunity and would like to thank her family, friends, and mentors for their endless support. Enjoy the show!

Hayden Abel is thrilled to be back in Avonlea. Previous Pembroke credits include Mrs. Barry and Mrs. Spencer in Anne of Green Gables (the first time around), the Outlaw Queen in Two Gentlemen of Verona, Lady Capulet in Romeo & Juliet: Forever, and Kit Marlowe in Shakespeare in Love. She has also appeared with Theatre Tulsa in 1776 (George Read) and Calendar Girls (Elaine), and has now spent a statistically significant amount of her life in period costumes.

Offstage, Hayden serves as Pembroke Players' Head of Marketing and works in HR, which explains some things and raises others. She enjoys traveling, playing D&D, spending time with her husband and three children, and continuing to agree to more theatre with very little concern for her calendar. There are currently no signs of this stopping.

Sally Allen is so happy to be a part of the beloved story of Anne of Green Gables. Sally has previously performed for Pembroke Players in Shakespeare in Love, Pride and Prejudice, Hamlet and Macbeth; Heller Theatre in Intoxication; World Stage Theatre in Halftime, Life, Loss, and What I Wore, She Like Girls, and American Dreams; and Theatre Tulsa in Twelve Angry Women (Eclipse) and Calendar Girls. She is also honored to serve on the board for Pembroke Players. Sally appreciates the support from her family and friends.

Alyssa Kaye McCoy is so excited to be returning as Miss Stacy in Anne of Green Gables. She has a BFA in Theatre Performance and an LMSW. She is so excited for her sixth show with Pembroke Players. Her previous directing experience includes The Liars and previous stage managing experience includes Small Mouth Sounds. Alyssa has also assistant directed for Pembroke Players previously for Two Gentlemen of Verona.

Alyssa has been seen before as Miss Stacy in Anne of Green Gables (the first time around), Andromache in Trojan Women 2.0, Tybalt in Juliet and Her Romeo, Phoebe in Lysistrata, and Celia in Kara Sevda. Stay tuned with Pembroke Players for her next writing and directing credit, The Count of Monte Cristo!

Rowan Butler

Rowan Butler is 11 years old and delighted to reprise her roles as Little Anne and Minnie Mae for Pembroke Players' Season 4 opener, Anne of Green Gables. This production marks Rowan's 24th show, ranging from local to off-Broadway. Some of her recent roles include Young Alison in Fun Home with Eclipse Theatre Collective and Theatre Tulsa, Young Elisabeth in Nietzsche: The Musical with Off-Brand Opera, Betty Parris in The Crucible with Theatre Tulsa, and many more. She is also active in films and commercials, appearing most recently in the Lifetime movie Faith & Forgiveness. In addition to acting, Rowan is a member of South Tulsa Dance Co. teams PreCo, Lil Mindz and Ballet Company, who compete at various competitions throughout the US.

Autumn Villanueva plays Ruby Gillis. She is a Tulsan actress born and raised. You may have seen her in productions at the Tulsa PAC like 1776, In the Heights, Hairspray, and Evita. She is excited to bring Ruby Gillis to life and give the audience a chance to love her just as her friends do in Avonlea.

Abby Miller is so grateful to get the opportunity to play Josie Pye for a second time! She's been doing theater since she was 12 years old and her favorite roles include Jennie from The Yellow Wallpaper, Kate from Shakespeare in Love, and Abigail from The Crucible. This is Treabein's fourth show with Pembroke Players, and he's so thankful to be part of such a wonderful cast and crew! Some shows he's been in around the area include the TPAC production of Fiddler on the Roof (Ensemble); Pembroke Players' productions of Macbeth (Malcolm), Two Gentlemen of Verona (Launce), Romeo and Juliet: Forever (Young Romeo) and Shakespeare in Love (Sam); and Theatre Tulsa productions of Once On This Island (French Soldier 1/Daniel u/s), Cabaret (Victor, and Bobby in the encore performance) and Frozen (Sven). He wants to thank his family for always supporting him. He's so excited to be in Avonlea for the first time and he hopes you enjoy the show.

Asher is ecstatic to make his Pembroke Players debut! Asher has had a passion for storytelling since he can remember and carried that passion through his scholastics. He attended Tulsa Tech for Filmmaking and Multimedia Design. He fell in love with acting but still continues to branch out with varied art forms to learn as much as he can within the crafts. Asher is extremely grateful to all of the people of Pembroke Players for a welcoming and free space to create art as a team.

Xander Jennings returns to the stage with Pembroke Players in Anne of Green Gables, playing Mr. Phillips and the stationmaster. Initially helping capture the magic of Pembroke through videography and photography, Xander eventually decided it was time to see what all the fuss was about from the other side of the camera, making his acting debut in Shakespeare in Love. That went suspiciously well, so naturally he followed it up as Crew Chief for Juliet & Her Romeo.

Having now sampled the front, back, and various chaotic corners of the theatre, Xander has apparently committed to the bit and is back onstage playing two characters. He's grateful to the talented cast and crew for continuing to teach him the ropes, and especially to Cody and Nicole for making sure he doesn't get hopelessly tangled in them. Still a relative newcomer to the theatrical arts, Xander is relying on enthusiasm, questionable confidence, and the occasional successfully memorized line to maintain the increasingly elaborate illusion that he knows what he's doing.

Tom Powers married his college sweetheart, Shirley, in 1975. They are parents to Molly and grandparents to Dylan and Cody. Shirley spent 31 years as a lunch lady and Tom has been teaching since 1996. He began performing in local theatre in 1994. Powers has appeared in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as Grandpa Joe, as well as It's a Wonderful Life, Wizard of Oz, and several other shows with four companies.

DIRECTOR

Cody McCoy is the Artistic Director of Pembroke Players. His directing credits include Two Gentlemen of Verona, Who's Hamlet?, Five Lesbians Eating a Quiche, A Christmas Carol, and most recently, Juliet and Her Romeo, Pembroke's punk-rock queer reimagining of Shakespeare's classic.

Returning to Avonlea has been incredibly special for Cody. This story and the people who bring it to life, whether they are new to the cast or coming back, hold a very important place in his heart. Returning to it has been, quite simply, the most magical experience he has ever had in theatre.

There is only one thing missing: the production's original director, Ashley Corral. Her heart and imagination are woven into the foundation of this production, and although she cannot be here this time, her presence is deeply felt throughout.

Cody would like to thank this extraordinary cast and crew, his family for their unwavering support, and everyone who has made this return possible.

Of all the places theatre has taken him, he is incredibly grateful to be back in Avonlea.

Jen Alden

Before arriving in Tulsa, Jennifer danced with several contemporary dance companies in Portland, Oregon. Prior to this, Jennifer studied under Susan Zadoff at the University of Oregon and Eugene Ballet in Eugene, Oregon and was a company member of Dance Oregon and performed with the Eugene Opera Ballet. Before this, Jennifer performed as a soloist with the State Ballet of Oregon under the direction of Eric Hyrst. Jennifer was also involved with musical theater in high school and choreographed her first musical of West Side Story at the age of 17.

Jennifer is Founding Co-Artistic Director, Choreographer and Company Manager of Oklahoma Movement (formerly Portico Dance Theatre) in Tulsa for the last 15 years, creating, directing and choreographing more than 15 full length original works. Jennifer was a Board Member and served as Treasurer of Living Arts of Tulsa for five years. She was Chair of the Arts and Entertainment Crew of Tulsa Young Professionals (TYPROs). Jennifer received awards for 40 Under 40 for both the Tulsa People and Business and Legal News.

Jennifer has choreographed for three years for the Tulsa Opera, operas such as Carmen, Romeo and Juliet and Samson and Delilah. Jennifer choreographed for Theatre Tulsa and has had the pleasure of choreographing Chorus Line, Oklahoma, Jesus Christ Superstar, Ragtime, The Producers, The Wedding Singer, My Fair Lady, The Music Man and Something Rotten. She also choreographed and directed Sound of Music. Jennifer recently directed the opera “The Medium” for the Tulsa Opera. Jennifer was recently awarded the Tulsa Theater award (PO TATE) for her choreography of “Pride and Prejudice” for Pembroke Players. Jennifer choreographed the musical Ragtime for TPAC.

Jennifer is so extremely excited to be working with Pembroke Players again with her favorite creative partner, Cody!

Nicole Muse

STAGE MANAGER

Born and raised in Tulsa, Nicole earned her Bachelor's degree in Counseling in 2022. She is now putting that degree to work at Family and Children's Services in their school-based program. She has spent the last year and a half with Pembroke working on and off stage. She is beyond thrilled to be a part of this production. The story of Anne is brand new to her but it's already found its way into her heart.

Rich Goss

Leaving the deep forest and his friends Bigfoot and Mothman, he took up the hoo-mon name Rich Goss and entered into a 36 year career in the theater, where no one looks twice at another weirdo. A scenic artist, swordsman and puppeteer, he literally makes his own friends.

Evan Moorehead

LIGHTING DESIGNER

Evan Moorehead is ecstatic to be working on Anne of Green Gables as the lighting designer. They are a graduate of the University of Tulsa, where they earned degrees in Musical Theatre and Arts, Culture, Entertainment Management. Their previous theatre credits include Lighting Designer for Chicago Jr., Stage Manager for Our Town, and David in Choir Boy. When they aren't working in theatre, Evan enjoys dancing to nu-disco, traveling, and playing games with their friends. They would like to thank Anna Puhl for being their biggest supporter and dedicate their work to their mentor Justin Daniels.

Ben Leonard has a passion for live sound, music, and sound design. Ben worked on Super Suite 2 with Oklahoma Movement in April, where he created a mashup of music featured in the production. Ben began working with Pembroke Players in June, making his upcoming production his second show with the company.
